Angela Stefanachi
Angela Stefanachi obtained his M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology cum laude at the University of Bari in 1998 and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Bari in 2004. She had two wide experience as visiting scientist abroad: the first in the group of prof Enrique Ravina (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain) and the second in the group of prof. Steven Ley (University of Cambridge, UK). Her research is focused on the design and synthesis of small molecule through parallel organic synthesis, both on solid phase and in solution, with potential pharmacological activity toward pathologies such as cancer (CB2 Ligands, Aromatase, Protein Kinases, MDR and HDAC inhibitors), neurodegenerative diseases ( CB2, AChE-BChE and Aβ1-40 aggregation inhibitors) and asthma (selective Adenosine2B receptor antagonists).
