
Cristina Sanchez
Cristina Sánchez is Full Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Complutense University (Madrid, Spain). Her group is devoted to understanding the role of the endocannabinoid system in cancer generation and progression, with the ultimate goal of exploiting this system as a therapeutic target and as patient screening tool. Cristina is the current President of the Spanish Cannabinoid Research Society, Secretary and founding member of the Spanish Medical Cannabis Observatory, member of the Complutense University Good Research Practices Committee, and was the Vice-Dean of Research of its School of Biology.
