Ester Aso

Doctor in Biology from the Pompeu Fabra University, she is currently Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Barcelona (Spain). Her research work has focused over the last 20 years on the role of the endocannabinoid system in mental health and, especially, on the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids against neurodegenerative diseases. As a result, she has published more than sixty scientific papers related to cannabinoids and other topics, and has participated in numerous research projects financed with public and private funds.
