Ethan Russo

Ethan Russo, MD is a board-certified neurologist (since 1987), psychopharmacologist, and Founder/CEO of CReDO Science. He serves as Chief Medical Officer at Andira Pharmaceuticals and Senior Medical Advisor to Canurta. Formerly, he was Senior Medical Advisor and study physician for GW Pharmaceuticals, involved in numerous Phase I–III trials of Sativex® and Epidiolex®. He practiced clinical neurology in Missoula, Montana, for 20 years and held faculty positions at the University of Montana and the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a past president of the International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS) and former chairman of the International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines (IACM). He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed articles. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (1973, Psychology), earned his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School (1978), and completed training in pediatrics and neurology at the University of Washington.
