Guillermo Moreno Sanz

Dr. Guillermo Moreno-Sanz has been involved in cannabinoid research for over 20 years and has authored more than 30 scientific articles and 3 patents describing the role of the endocannabinoid system in the control of pain. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He received a Fulbright scholarship to complete his education at the University of California, Irvine, where he developed a new class of cannabinoid analgesics, and served as a consultant to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences in the development of the report "The Health Effects of Cannabis and Cannabinoids". Since 2020 he acts as scientific director of Khiron Europe, a distributor of cannabis-based medicinal products, and Zerenia Clinic, a telehealth clinic in the UK specialized in chronic neurological and psychiatric conditions.
