Julián Romero
Julián Romero obtained his degree in Pharmacy in 1992 and his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 1997, both from Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. Over the past thirty years, he has built his academic and research career at institutions including Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón (Madrid), University of Cantabria (Spain), Brown University (USA), Medical College of Wisconsin (USA), and Leiden University (The Netherlands). His research team collaborates actively with groups worldwide, including in the USA, Italy, Israel, The Netherlands, and the UK. He currently serves as Full Professor of Pathophysiology and Director of the School of Pharmacy at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid. He is also the former President of the Spanish Cannabinoid Research Society (SEIC), uniting over 200 researchers in the cannabinoid field.
